PostgreSQL one of the many-much-muchacho-more SQL options in the world. But how do you install it?

Well, for Ubuntu 14.04 follow the steps!

sudo apt-get install postgresql postgresql-contrib

The installation procedure created a user account called postgres that is associated with the default Postgres role. In order to use Postgres, we’ll need to log into that account. You can do that by typing:

sudo -i -u postgres

You can use your own password to login, and then we are logged in as the postgres user.

Lets open up the PostgreSQL command lines:

psql

Here you can query, drop, create and so much more, but we want to create a database. Use the following syntax

createdb yourdbname

Well, thats all folks.
